In layman’s terms, you can think of an aura as a sort of “energy field” that emanates from a person. Some people may be able to see and or feel this energy as well (like some kind of force field surrounding the body). There are certain colors that are associated with certain personality traits which are seemingly universal across most cultures.
The common favorites are blue for “calmness” and red for “boldness” but there are many more out there. In fact, your personal aura can range in color from light yellow to deep purple!
What is an Aura?
An aura is when a person’s energy field extends out beyond his/her body, usually invisible to the naked eye, but detectable by some people.
It can also be seen by cameras in some cases, and scientists have even been able to see it using an MRI scan—but it’s likely that everyone has one. The best way to describe your own aura would be as a vibration—you could say that you’re vibrating at any given moment.
This vibration is another way of describing your own energy which is associated with how you feel for that particular moment—and this vibration is contagious, which means that other people who are around you will begin to feel differently as well if you happen to be radiating positivity or negativity for example.
Sometimes people experience auras as colors, smells, sounds, or textures (like tactile sensations)—while other times they just experience them through purely energetic realms of knowing!
Are there various Aura colors?
There are seven distinct layers that makeup everyone’s aura. Yes, everyone has an aura and the colors within each layer of your aura mean different things about you. Well, most people do have a predominant color for their aura, but it can change at times depending on your mood.
A drastic shift in mood could be due to your horrible boyfriend or boss, but it could also be because of a number of other factors including physical and emotional trauma or even an illness!
What are multi-colored Auras?
Just as there are not all just one color, neither are all personalities the same. If you’re of multicolored aura and wonder to yourself what that may mean with regards to what kind of a person you are – we will try to offer you some insight. If your aura is a blend of colors, think of it as a blend of personality traits – let’s say, red and magenta for example.
You are likely confident, passionate about your passions, and perhaps a bit independent too! In addition, if your aura were blue and yellow alike – we understand how this individual would likely be someone who is more introverted in nature yet still creative whilst being able to socialize effectively when they need to!
Are there any Bad auras?
Well, there’s good and bad in everything! Like how dark green is generally positive energy while emerald green can indicate a love-centered person. Among different shades of red, a muddy or foggy aura can mean exhaustion and a lack of confidence. It’s like having too much of something when you’re supposed to have the right amount for that thing to work for you, ya know?
If you find your aura is blackening around the edges, it could be because of a feeling that things are just not going the way you had wished.
For example, you might have felt like taking the day off would’ve been more helpful for you than training today, but your boss forced you to come in anyway… or maybe an important project due date is closing in and you don’t even know what you’re doing yet!
In these situations it helps to try to recognize and acknowledge your frustration, then simply step away from whatever it is that’s got you all worked up. Take some time to cool off and collect yourself.
Once your head has cleared and your heart has settled down, chances are your aura will be back to its usual radiant self again!
