Do you ever have a question you can’t just think your way out of? Need an unbiased outside perspective on a big decision? Are you dead-set on finding out who’s right and who’s wrong in a fight with someone close to you? Then reach for your favorite tarot deck!
The practice of divination, or magic to see into the future, has been around since the Middle Ages.
Believe it or not, fortune-tellers and everyday people alike love using these card decks as tools to help shed light on life’s biggest questions and also themselves!
What are the things you should consider before doing the tarot reading?
1. Before you even get started, We say it’s imperative that you tap into your intuition and connect with your deck. Sit down somewhere comfortable and make sure you have a journal at the ready.
If meditating is something that you like to do, We suggest doing some before moving on to connecting with the cards themselves because it will help to quiet any doubts or worries that you might have before answering important questions for whoever has enlisted your services as a tarot reader.
One warning: We know what meditating looks like, but we don’t actually know how – so please leave it up to google if this is something that you haven’t tried before!
2. With relationship readings of any kind, I think it’s important to focus on your role in the situation. Pulling cards to try to read someone’s mind or gain access to something they didn’t grant you isn’t the most ethical and might be met with resistance or unclear answers. I would also recommend staying unbiased about a situation as you’re pulling cards for yourself as well and not doing it for someone else.”
3. Finally, when you’re done reading you should place the cards back in their deck and make sure to close out your session.
However, remember that like the baker’s dough, all of your ingredients that were selected were carefully planned so as not to change too much from what was originally intended.
Much like how important it is to connect with people who are reliable in a pinch so as not to burn yourself out on top of everything else that you’ve got going on, it’s equally just as important to always bring things back around to where they started so as not shift your course in any given direction without your consent.
